My thoughts and prayers are definately with you with your friend, her Hubby, you and all those furbabies. First off, God bless you for being such a caring friend and helping her out like this, I'm sure it is a lot of stress off her mind not having to tend to the pups right now while her husband is in such a shape. I was in a serious 4 wheeler accident and suffered 3 three brain bleeds, from personal experience, I can tell you it's a lot to come back from. I spent about a year trying to recover and still have a lil bit of problems with short term memory, but when I was first able to come home from the hospital, I didn't even know what a dog was and why it was making that sound (he was barking.) It's very scarey to be in that shape so I'm sure your friend will need all the help she can get right now and possibly for some time. Traumatic brain injuries can be very devistating. Please post and let us know how things are coming along and let your friend know I'm saying prayers for all of them.
