. Obviously not all animal testing is going to be banned, Congress would never approve it, and, I agree that it shouldn't be completely banned; that's not what this petition is fighting for. There are many times where it helps. However, with today's laws, animals are often abused and not treated with respect. This petition is simply going for more regulation in this area; regulation which we desperately need. By signing it, you are helping the issue gain notice within our government, and, as it is looked into, many of the atrocities will be discovered and fixed. Read the petition body- this isn't going for a complete ban, but simply a stronger stance against animal cruelty during animal testing.
