That's a tremendous growth spurt. According the YT growth chart,
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/growth_chart.doc if she weighed 3.5 oz at birth she is predicted to weight 3.5 pounds at 18 months. If she weights 3 pounds at 9 weeks she should weigh about 6 pounds at 18 months. Maybe she had a growth spurt because she was such a small baby. I think the best indicator is the size of her parents.
