Today is your second birthday, Emma! You are a big girl now-and I've enjoyed watching you learn and grow the last two years. You've changed so much since we brought you home as a ball of black fur at 8 weeks old. Now you've grown up, and you're become a beautiful, polite, intelligent yorkie girl!

You know so many tricks, and understand us when we ask you to go get something or someone. You are a wonderful big fursister to Milli-I know she bothers you sometimes by stealing your toys and food, competes with you for attention, and shows off for company, but it's just because she's the youngest. I know you sometimes get in trouble for naughty things she does or instigates, but we know that you didn't mean to, and were just going along with Milli's ideas.

I have given you lots of treats today, and you can be sure you'll have more yummy things tonight. We're going to stay home with you tonight so we can play with you and snuggle by the fire when you get tired. We love you very much, and can't imagine out lives without you.
