You have to wait for 14 days before the surture is removed. Within this 14 days, limit your baby's activities, like no jumping or running. If your baby does potty outside, use a leash and go outside with her, bring her back right away after it is done, don't let her run free outside. Also confine her in a smaller area such as kitchen, so she can walk around the smaller area instead of running.

Even though she acts normal and her surture looks healed, don't let her run too much since the inside might need longer time to heal.

Is she using a onesie? It is highly recommended rather than a e-collar. The onesie will not give a tunnel effect but will give more comfort while protecting her surture being chewed/licked.
