Hi!
Lulu sounds like Jenna. She loves people and giving kisses but if she hears a loud noise or thunder or something that scares her, she wants to get away to a safe place (usually the bathroom). She will also shake when she is scared. She seems very sensitive to noise but I am not sure why. The vet said that sometimes small dogs become phobic with certain noises. I usually try to let her know it is ok and in a while she will usually calm down. At these times she likes to be by herself and will not sit with anyone or even let anyone pet her.
I am trying to get her used to going out more by joining a dog playgroup. I am hoping that helps.
