I'm not suggesting that ALL people in other countries are puppymills, but I am saying that people in other countries that sell their puppies and ship them to the USA are puppymills. Just like in the USA you have good breeders and bad breeders but NO REPUTABLE BREEDER will ship their puppies to a broker or a pet store let alone one in another country.
Brazil seems to be the hot spot lately that brokers and petstores here in the USA are getting their dogs from. Think about it - if you as a consumer can buy say a mix (Designer dog as they call them) for $800 (Which I've seen some priced at) how much do you think that that broker paid someone in another country for that dog if they are making a profit which you know they are. Not to mention the cost involved of shipping that dog to the USA etc. If that is not enough to say Puppymill I don't know what is. Elaine
