I thought that was nice. she also offered to pay for the fish and any damage that might be done. I told her I do not want that...i simply wanted an apology and to help her understand that she needs to keep a better eye on the kids when they are in someone else's home. She agreed and has thoroughly apologized.
I still will not be inviting them over...but at least now we don't have to have awkward feelings when we see each other at church. |
I think you really did a very good job in explaining things to her. She might have already been aware of it .It is just that she needs to confront it and by what you mentioned, she is finally seeing it.
