Rufus absolutely loves those hyde chew sticks so while he's happy chewing on that he'll let me do anything, though recently, as if he's getting used to it he will let me comb him by just holding his head still with a thumb on his head and a finger under his jaw, I started by just doing it for a few seconds, then worked up to doing his whole face. If you let them have something really nice while it's happening to begin with then they seem to make a good association, it just seems to be simple training.
