I searched your site and couldn't find a clear answer to a question I had. So, I thought I would just create a new thread. Sorry for those who hate when people do that!

My yorkie, Lilly, is going to be 1 year old this April 8th. She has gone into heat this past Saturday (March 12th,2008).
I purchased a doggie diaper and use woman’s pannie liners. I have to change them 2 or 3 times a day. This seems like a lot of bleeding.
Now, for the questions … is it a lot of bleeding and exactly how long is it supposed to last.
I keep reading different things. Some say a week, some a couple of weeks, some say a month. Which is it????
