There may be a time when it has to be done, every couple of years or so.
Buddy is 4 and his teeth are sparkling white. No tartar anywhere.
I know they would not look like that if I had not cared for them but that
was one of the things I read before I got him. Yorkies loose their teeth
early if not properly taken care of. So I was determined to do my best.
So far so good.
What is a safe chew bone? I have bought several and Tricksie eats them and then gets sick. My Vet said they didn't recommend cleaning until 2 to 3 years old.
