There are lots of threads on here about it ...

When I brought Dim Sum home he was about 4 months old. I put him in the crate and he cried the first 4 nights. I had to use ear plugs and just ignore him. I also had to wake up every 4 hours or so just to let him out as they are not good at holding their bladders at that age. I did put a ticking clock by his crate and an old shirt of mine inside as well as his teddy outside to look at. It seemed to help.

After about a week he was fine and now stays in there from 11pm until 8am quietly. He also goes in by himself when its time for bed.

I guess the general rule is, put them in and ignore them when they cry. They will eventually get over it.
