There is a 2 year old next door to me and he will sit on the floor and pet jasmines back very gently and she just lays there and licks his hand ( we always supervise it and he know he can only pet her if he is sitting and she is laying down). What is everyones opinion of this? Thanks all!! |
You'll just need to supervise all interaction between your baby and Jasmine. As long as you teach your baby to be gentle and the proper way to behave around her you shouldn't have any problems. I would definitely continue to have Jasmine around small children so that she's comfortable and won't be afraid of the new baby when you do decide to have children. You'll just need to make sure that when you do finally have a child that Jasmine doesn't get jealous and you'll need to make sure she knows her place in the home. That the new baby comes first. My Bella's my baby but she will never come ahead of my children or grandchildren. As long as she knows her place in the home you shouldn't have any problems.
