OK we dropped her off... the specialist is really nice and this is all she does every day so I feel confident about the actual surgery but we dropped her off with her blanket and her oscar (toy) and the receptionist just rolled her eyes at me. I explained that it's the only toy she plays with so if they play with her... she interrupted me and said "we won't play with her" UGH. Her surgery isn't until like 1:00 and they wanted her at 8:30 so I hope the little princess is barking at them like she does at me when I don't pay attention to her!
I just keep telling myself this vet is the best at this. It's so hard. My vet specifically assigned someone to cuddle with Sammy before and after her spay. Yes I know they were half kidding but I have seen them really pamper the dogs in their care. I so wish my vet could have done this...
I'll post a new thread with an update when they call this afternoon. We pick her up at 10:00 tomorrow and we are supposed to be getting a snow storm tomorrow!?
