Oscar lost all his baby teeth except 3 baby canines. All of his permanent teeth came in, including the 3 new permanent canines. His mouth looked pretty funny with those extra teeth in there. He was neutered last week and the vet removed the three disiduous (retained) baby teeth. They were stuck in there good and wouldn't have come out on their own. And boy were they huge!! He said it was quite a job getting them out, but it's for the best as far as his bite goes.
A lot of small dogs seem to have trouble losing all their baby teeth--that's why you hear so much about it.
