Well, I actually have some Christmas 78's. But I didn't buy those. The first one I can remember is a 45 of the Rolling Stones "I Can't Get No Satisfaction". I had lots of Beatles and Beach Boys 45's (I had older brother and sister). I remember stacking so many 45's on my record player (as I sang in the mirror with my hairbrush as a microphone) that sometimes they would fall too many at a time. My first LP was the Partridge Family I am pretty sure. .... and I had Hey Jude/Revolution. Revolution Rocked.
I feel sooooooooo old, but I love these CD/45/LP/cassette (and 8-tracks for Judy) threads. I was telling my hubby about it tonight and we had a good time.
And I really love the different ages of all of us. It makes it all the more fun.
