Linus did the same thing when he was little. The breeder told me when I got him that he preferred to eat from a plate! I realized that it's beacuse he doesn't like to stick his face into a bowl of food because his face gets dirty
So now, I spread his food out on a plate so he can pick each piece up withing getting too messy!
