hi ,
i have not been on this site long myself but the few questions i have asked have always had good helpful replies .
i am pretty new to being a mom so may not be able to help much ,but i can say that yorkshire terriers are an absolute joy ,and if you are going to be home alot they are the perfect friend .
i find macca the most loving dog i have ever come across he stays by my side all the time and often snuggles his head into my neck like he is trying to give me a cuddle, and from what i have read on this site all yorkies seem to be the same .
they are also very intelligent so needs lots of stimulation ,and although they are quite hard to traine, with persistance and love they get it eventualy as they just want to make there owner happy ,at only 6 months old macca will now sit , stay ,fetch and gives me his paw and although he has the odd accident or two he is house trained !
you cant go wrong with a yorkie if its companionship you want !
good luck with your search for your new best friend
