 No Sleep Last Night
We had a bad storm last night and Rickles is scared to death of thunder and heavy rain. He doesn't do like most other dogs do and find somewhere to hide, he runs and barks until the thunder storm stops. We went to bed and I drifted off to sleep and then boom the thunder started and Rickles (who sleeps with me along with Gleason and my cats) started running around and around the bed - he did get down he was on the bed running around and around. Sometimes he would run over my hair. The cats finally got so disgusted that they gave him a swat and got off the bed. Gleason just looked at him like he was crazy and went back to sleep but I kept trying to talk to him. Around 2 am the thunder stopped and went to sleep. I called the vet today and I'm getting some valumn? to give him when it storms. I'm afraid he will have a stroke or a heart attack if this keeps up. Anyway I am beat today. Does anyone else have a yorkie so scared of storms? |
