 Anyone have experience with Dachsunds?
A friend of a friend has a dachsund puppy she needs to re-home. She has both parents and several other dogs and can't keep this one. She was born around Christmas time so she's still a baby.
I would love to take her, but I'm not sure how my furbaby would deal with that. He's pretty protective of his mommy and he's been the only child for almost a year now. It would be nice to have someone for him to play with when I'm at work though so he isn't all alone.
Has anyone had any previous experience with dachsunds and/or integrating them into a family with yorkie's ?
I'm just trying to figure out what I'm getting into here, because I know as soon as she sends me a picture I'm gonna want this puppy. She tried taking her to a local pet store and the poor thing freaked out so bad that they called her and told her she had to come back and get her.
