Hi, this is what we did for our puppy. She was very small also. I put her crate in bed with me (actually place the crate with the puppy in it in the bed) and held her paw all night long. If she would cry I would just say shhhhhh. She did very good with that and in about 3 nights she was sleeping through the night... Best of luck
