how old is odie? gino did the same thing for a while...he would only eat his kibble if you hand fed it to him one piece at a time  lol ... we finally realized we needed to stop because we were teaching him bad habits...if we would have continued to feed him this way, he would have learned this was "okay" and would expect it all the time  ... we just realized we needed to set the bowl down and ignore his sad face ... once he realized we were not going to hand feed him, all of the sudden he remembered how to eat on his own lol
i think if your furkid is hungry, you can afford to let him "wait it out" ... he will eat when he is hungry  now for a puppy it is a little bit different because they need to eat more regularly ... not sure what to do in that case  |
Odie is 12 weeks old, Just had his second set of needles on Monday. But he was starting this little game before his needles.. BTW he is now 1lb 8 ozs.. wooohooo
