Good luck! I wish I had known that tip when we first tried teaching Toto. She would just flatten her little body on the floor and nothing we did would get her to move!
We finally, in desperation, hired a trainer who came to our home to work with her. Paul had her prancing on the leash in less than hour!!
I have no idea how he did it, but she has been perfect on her leash ever since. He then trained us.
