I am NOT trying to discourage you, but I think this will be a lesson quilt, I'm glad its small... The directional in the pinwheel is a good place, but ONLY if its cut absolutly perfect, but for the body of the quilt or for large areas that are peiced, directional fabrics are not uasually a good idea, unless it lends itself to the theam, like in a crazy or mixed up type quilt...
Dont try to line them up, you will never be able to do it! I'm pretty OCD so it would drive me nuts! But now that I've said this... you may see it and think... OMG! lol But you'll see what I mean... | Thanks for the warning.  I'm still playing with it. I'm not sure I like the pin stripes in the main area, so that is probably going to change, which will make it easier. I will definitely let you know how it goes.
