I took Zoe to yet another groomer hoping this time they might know that she is not a schnauzer or any other small dog....now, I must admit to you that throughout my being down because of my thyroid, I haven't been the best at brushing her like I should..
.... she had a few matts that I figured would be best dealt with by a groomer instead of myself, since I am just learning how to do the whole clipper thing.
So I leave her there with instructions to NOT shave her nose or lashes like the last groomer did, just trim up the head.....I left feeling pretty good...even took a magnet for the fridge. Then about an hour after I dropped her off my phone rings....I know, I know, I hear you all saying...I should have just stayed there. But I didn't. I was kind of worried that he was already done with her...one hour.
I go to pick her up and burst into tears at what she looks like!
He has completely shaven her to the skin! She looked miserable! I'm in PA...its still chilly. All I could say was shes naked! She won't lay with me right now which I'm sure she is mortified! Zeus and Peppee acted like it was a dog they had never seen...I guess she kind of is....I know hair grow back but I am just simply heartbroken.
