Seven weeks is very young for a yorkie pup to leave it's mother. I would think it would not be good for it to try to hold it's bladder as long as you discribe.

Also, yorkie pups need to eat very often. At that age I would say to offer food every hour or two. These little dogs can get very very sick if they are not eating often. I'm not sure about your baby but my two would never touch their food while in a create. I have an x pen for my puppy and she will eat when she is in there. I leave food out for my two at all times.

Is there any way the breeder could hold your baby until the puppy gets to be 10 -12 weeks? That is the standard for a yorkie puppy to go home.

if not, I would try an x pen, ( I have a plastic play yard from toys r us) with a open create for my puppy to sleep in, food and water, a few safe toys, and you can put a potty pad in there so your puppy can go when it needs to.

Thei is the best site for you to be in for info on puupy care. best of luck with your baby, I'm sure it's adorable! Please post some pics so we get to see!!! We all love pics of the little babies!!!!
