When I had a terrier mix he didn't start with allergies until he was seven
but when I took him to the vet's they did skin scrappings and sent them
out to test for whatever they showed.
Here is what came back and what they said he was allergic to:
1. Horse hair
2. Dog hair (how can you be allergic to yourself)
3. Duck feathers
4. Grass
5. Oak Trees and some other's kinds of trees
6. Dust
The list went on and on. I didn't know weather to laugh or cry!
They put him on a steroid called azium (s) and I was never able to
get him off of it. He became addicted to it until the day he died at
16yrs. He has sores all over him. You couldn't even pet the poor dog.
I hope you get answers. This was 12yrs or more so hopefully times
have changed.
