My sil didn't...had a blinding headache for a week..went to the doctor for pain meds for the headache they scheduled a cat scan. Her sinus' were impacted. Hopefully it's the same with your son.
Get the doctor to request a stat or wet reading of the scan...then he won't have to wait so long for the results. If they tell him they will call him with the results...it is probably nothing...it's not likely they would find something significant without someone speaking to him. At least that is what we were told with my sil.
