Another thing----there are many, many rescue Yorkies available. It tends to be difficult, though, to pass all their specifications. But it's worth it if you can. I have a rescue Pommie that I love dearly. But he is another example of either a puppy mill or a byb. He is 9 mo. old and has grade 4 LP. Has to have surgery this summer that will cost around $3,500.
