When I had lulu spayed my vet sent her home with pain meds for three days. It was the best thing for her. By the day after she was up and about moving around fine but I know those drugs helped. Wouldn't think to not opt for them.
I thought the tubal was going to be easy..I originally took off a day after the surgery..I had to call and take the rest of what was a week off. That bad boy was painful mind you I had mine laproscopically...so I know you were hurting if you had a big cut.
Oooh to be young and naive..that is what I thought of your vet's counter folks...lol..such dingbats.
