Anyway... Pixie was a very late bloomer and does not have regular heats... I only have two recorded... and a possible third, not for sure honestly, she didn't even swell to half her size... But reguardless, she needed to be done and she will reduce mutipule health risks bu doing so.
Sorry to sound defencive... I'm not trying to be, I just can't let thoughts that I am doing this in vain creep into my head right now...  | I totally understand and I did Ellie only to prevent pyometra and I may very well do it again. She was also getting mammary lumps (benign) which have seemed to go away since the spay.
