I don't think a yorkie that weighs under 3 lbs will live to 17 years. That is a bit of a stretch. These 'teacup' places are scary. They reinforce the idea that it is acceptable to breed dogs this small. The general public knows no different.

We told people when we were trying to find homes for our dogs that 'teacups' don't exist and extremely small yorkies are very likely to be unhealthy. What is scary, those people are still looking We suspect they will not be good owners.
