It is my understanding the intranasal Bordatella is a LIVE vaccine. My pup promptly contracted Bordatella from this and it took over a month of meds for it to go away. The actual injection is a dead vaccine. My girls now get the injection form and have been fine with it.

Though many would disagree, Bordatella is a treatable condition. Many prefer to not vaccinate against this and treat as needed. That being said, every kennel and doggie day care I know of insist that your pup be vacinnated for Bordatella before they will take them and it is strongly recommended if your pup goes to dog parks or is around other dogs for meet-ups or whatever.
