i'm really sorry for your loss. reading things like this really makes me second guess myself on deciding whether or not to get Kash neutered. i know it's the right thing to do (especially if i don't plan on breeding him). he is a week shy of being 4 months old, and the vet said she'd like to wait until he's 3 lbs or more before he gets neutered. he's only 2 lbs now, so i'm thinking it'll be another 2 months before he gains that extra pound. my vet mentioned that there's a milder anesthetic that allow dogs/cats to wake up easier. it's more expensive, but i am going to pay the cost if it means Kash is safer. again, i'm sorry about your loss.
