my breeder doesn't give her puppies the bordatella shots, but she didn't tell me not to do it... my vet gave Kash the bordatella shot in the left shoulder. apparently, it's pretty painful... he screamed for like 15 seconds straight... and then he was fatigued for the rest of the day. but the next day, he was back to normal. my vet said "bordatella" is the fancy name for the kennel cough shot. because on my invoice, it said kennel cough, and when i asked what that was, they said it was the fee for the bordatella shot.
anyway, Kash is fine after those shots. and i'm pretty sure he got the lepto shot too. he's doing great.
