Peanut got spayed this morning and finished by 10am. The vet kept her though and gave her a shot of morphine for pain. She will get another shot at 2pm and I get to pick her up at 4pm. I'm so nervous!

I feel so bad for her because she probably has no idea what's going on... poor baby. I read some threads on here and I may invest in some baby onesies to help keep her from bothering her stitches.

They offered me "laser" surgery rather than standard "scalpel" surgery and said it had less bleeding, etc. I didn't opt for it because it's already so expensive at $275... you would think they would throw in the laser anyways.

Any tips on what to expect? I know she will not be normal for a while... I just don't know what to expect or what kinds of changes will be expected. Any info would be great, I'm a worried momma!
