It's a cruddy, rainy day here, and we just got back from the vet. Emma's eye looked a little red yesterday, and we noticed she was scratching it, but then it looked better so we thought it was just irritated. Today, she woke up from a nap, and her eye was swollen and crusted almost shut
I called and took her straight to the vet (good thing I'm off work today!), and they got us right in-one more reason I love the new vet!
The vet said it started as an eye infection, and then since it itched, her eye is red and a little scratched around the outside of her eye. They gave us eye drops and antibiotic pills-and said I could use both on Milli if she started having the same symptoms too. I thought that was nice-they won't make me pay for another vet visit like our other clinics did. I'm worried Milli's going to get it too, DH said she was so worried while we were gone, sitting by the door and whining, and looking all over the house for us.
Milli loves her fursister so much-she was checking Emma over to make sure she was ok right when we got home.
