Is her pedigree American or Canadian? If she is already 5 years old she is probably more than ready for a rest, she may even be ready for retirement. Have they been using her as a puppy machine and than passing her on? I'd still call her previous owner and get some history on this poor gal. You need to know what you could possibly be facing if you have a litter of pups with her.
