Praying for Lexie and Denise! Sounds like it could have gone up into her sinuses or into her lungs. I sure hope not. I sure hope it's just up where they can't see and they can get it out.

My nephew had a piece of sea shell in his mouth and accidentally inhaled it into his lung. He had to have a scope to get it out. I sure hope it's just up where they can't see and they can get it out.

I know the feeling, though. My son was two and he stuck a piece of styrofoam up his nose. We could see it but couldn't reach it with tweezers. He would struggle and cry and it would go up farther. I was home alone with him (and a new baby) at the time so I called some friends as a last resort before going to the ER. Between the three of us - two holding him still and one going in with the tweezers we finally got it out.

Lexie, at three, sounds much easier to deal with in this situation than my son was at two! (He will be 24 this month).
