I havent heard anything about the puppy food issue before now however I was told when I was breeding shelties to give the mommy a ration of liver once a day which would help with the development of puppies and the mother giving her things she would be missing. And as far as after the puppies get here you will be in for some work. Fun work for the most of it like socializing and playtimes and bath times but not so fun work with the rest of it. It is work and is very time consuming however very worth the work put in to the job at hand. Good luck and do your research very important!!! You will need to know what to put into your contracts for puppies, if you offer a puppy pack with your pups you will need to be putting that together, and so on. A lot of work but take it one day at a time and please post pics I love to see pics. And Im sure everyone else does also.
