I would also look in surrounding areas. I live in Austin and my yorkie is from Lubbock which is about an 8 hour drive I think. Luckily the breeder was at a dog show in San Antonio which is only 1 1/2 hours or so. Maybe you can find a breeder who will meet you half way. I do have to tell you that lately yorkies have been getting extremely expensive lately, so try to look more for a breeder you trust and that has a lot of experience more than the price. Of course look at the price because I have seen a yorkie that cost $10,000 which someone purchased. So I think if you have to drive a couple hours for your perfect little angel it is soooooooo worth it. You are going to have sooo much fun!!!
