I agree with Twalla - make sure you sleep on it. And here is the lesson - I learned it years ago........ Say no to the self-invite in the first place. It's your house. It was your dinner. I am not "forward" enough to be so direct as simply "no". But I come up with some excuse that "tonight wouldn't be a good time because we're discussing something personal, my daughter isn't feeling well, the dogs aren't feeling well", whatever.
I'm so sorry. You shouldn't have had to deal with that. Really bad parenting on their part.  |
I am definitely going to "sleep on it"...but make no mistake...she will know how I feel. she needs to understand that this stuff is just NOT acceptable!!!!
