Peppers and broccoli can cause intestinal gas in humans and the last thing I want my furbabies doing is making a smell---more than normal, that is. I don't feed peas too often because they are starchy and have sugar. My two seniors struggle with their weight anyway, so why push it. Mushed green beans are my choice of veggie for their meals and they love them. Another way to try them is frozen.
