I'm getting a bit upset though, as I haven't been able to find too many breeders in my area. Don't know if I'm being picky/spoiled or not, because there are tons in my state (Florida) but most seem to be hours and hours away. Which is a shame because I'm from South Florida (Miami) and most seem to be around there, but that's 8+ hours from where I live now.
Ideas anyone?

P.S. It's so cute to see everyone bragging about their dogs. Can't wait until I can do that too! (We've got a countdown of months until we move to our pet friendly new apartment. But I've now started an unofficial countdown until puppy comes home.) I almost want to post pictures of my family dog here, but she's a poodle (and our other just passed away). |
Eight hours is a long way, but they have e-mail and you can get to know them that way. Many go to dog shows and that might be a way to meet with several breeders. If you are originally from Miami maybe someone you know could check some of them out. As a last resort, Miami is a great place to visit!
