Callie does that when she wants to play. She usually gets too rough and will bite but when she does that she's just up for a friendly game of whatever she feels like at the moment. (But it's ALWAYS a nice game. Then when she's done I get my hug and kiss.) We taught our mastiffs how to give hugs and I never thought Callie would learn but she did! (I thought she was too small) She's great...she can make the worst day possible the best!
