Welcome to YT. I hope that YT provides you with the valuable knowledge that you need before you breed your furbabies. I have three babies from terrible combinations. Two are byb's and the other a puppy mill. The puppy mill baby, Cocoa, is 3 lbs. with bow legs. She's already had surgery for LP on one knee and will have another. In reality she should have surgery on her front knees but that is not an option according to the specialist. Someone didn't care about breeding a sire/dam with LP. Then there is Rosie from an unloving byb. She does not have a straight back and she has a mild case of LP. Her shoulders are much wider than her hips which has an odd appearance. Now I have a Pommie, Snowboy, who is a rescue and is 9 mo. old. Just this week he was diagnosed with grade 4 LP and needs to have surgery this summer. The rescue lady said he was from a byb. There are devastating results when you do not research the medical history of your sire/dam. Please, please be ever so careful. It's heart breaking and costly to not do so.
