I took a maltese puppy in to the vet(emergency) on Christmas morning 5 years ago(she had hypoglycemia, which at the time, I didn't know much about)..we were there 3-4 hours, total vet bill for everything they did was $125....sounds to me, like that vet needs money pretty bad..that's ridiculous to charge that much!
My daughter had to take her dog in a few mos. ago to the vet because he was also bleeding..I don't recall what the problem was, the vet said this does happen sometimes, he gave him a shot, and it cost my daughter $45 and it cleared up..
