my dtr is in competitive gymnastics...and her coach is a guy. He is totally feminine. the way he walks, talks, acts....everyone that see's him would bet the farm that he is gay. to each his own...i really don't care...in fact, I adore the guy. he is a GREAT coach...and he is WONDERFUL with kids...and he is just a lot of fun to be around. an overall great guy. well, today, at a birthday party for one of the girls on the team, the mom's were talking about the fact that the coach was getting married soon. I wasn't totally surprised cuz he wears what looks like a wedding band on his wedding finger. BUT...I WAS surprised to know that he was marrying a GIRL. one of the mom's actually does his hair (yes...he get's highlights, low lights, all sorts of colors and styles) and he had talked to her about it.

I am SOOOOOO happy for him...but I am surprised. Is that wrong of me?? I mean...I actually liked the fact that he was gay LOL well...that we thought he was. he was/is a ton of fun!!!!!! anyway...i know i am horrible for being shocked...but trust me...there are about 8 other mom's that I know of that are equally as shocked LOL
I think that nowadays you run into a lot of guys that are a lot more feminine due to the whole metrosexual culture. When I worked in cosmetics, I even sold a lot of foundation and bronzer to straight guys (I only knew they were straight because I knew them in my private life as well). But you see so many guys getting highlights, expensive haircuts, manicures, fake and baking, are into fashion, waxing their eyebrows and other body parts...I just can't keep track. But I like my man to be a manly man.
