There is only ONE classification for a Yorkshire Terrier and that is TOY. A Yorkshire Terrier is a Toy Breed dog with a standard size of 7lbs and under. There is no such thing as a teacup/minature/standard yorkie. Only the one Yorkshire Terrier, a toy breed dog. The standard calls for a Yorkshire Terrier to be 7lbs and under (most prefer to produce a size of 4-7lbs). However, some yorkies end up being on the smaller side and some end up being over standard...they are still only a Yorkshire Terrier...just can't be shown.

Classifying yorkies into different sizes is very misleading and deceitful in my opinon. It's a major red flag to me when I see a breeder use the words "teacup", "miniature", etc. for their yorkies.
