Pepper is trained to go outside by me, but at the breeder she was pee pad trained. needless to say every throw rug in my house was a pee pad. I had used the washable pee pads for another dog and they work wonderful. For when hubby and I are both at work I leave down the pee pads so just in case she can't hold it she has somewhere to go and she has very few problems. I got mine from little bit as well
